Fix eSIM Connectivity Issues by Disabling DNS or VPN

My eSIMania connection isn't working. Should I disable DNS or VPN services?

Active VPN or DNS services may interfere with your eSIMania connectivity. Here’s how to troubleshoot:

  1. Disable third-party VPNs
Go to your device settings and turn off any active VPN applications. Corporate or workplace VPNs often require special configurations.
  2. Check DNS settings
Reset DNS to default in your network settings. Custom DNS (like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8) can sometimes block eSIM activation servers.
  3. Restart your device
Power cycling helps clear temporary network conflicts. Wait 30 seconds before rebooting.

❗ If using a company-managed device:

  • Contact your IT department before making changes
  • Request approval to whitelist eSIMania services
