Why do I get an error when reinstalling my eSIM profile using the QR code?
Error messages during eSIM reinstallation typically occur for one of these reasons:
1. Device Conflict
Your eSIM profile remains active on another device. To fix this:
- Open Your Orders in your eSIMania account
- Locate the active eSIM profile
- Follow our device deletion guide
If you no longer have access to the original device, contact our support team for profile reset assistance.
2. Reinstallation Limit Reached
eSIMania allows up to 5 profile reinstalls per purchase to balance flexibility and security. If you see this error:
- Check your installation history in Order Details
- Consider purchasing a new eSIM plan if you need additional activations
