Why does my eSIMania account show a different currency than my initial purchase?
When purchasing an eSIM profile through eSIMania.com, you can select from multiple currencies (USD, EUR, GBP) during checkout. However, your account's default currency is automatically set based on your registered country of residence:
- Eurozone countries: Accounts default to Euro (€)
- United Kingdom: Accounts default to British Pound (£)
- All other countries: Default to US Dollar ($)
Your account currency affects:
- Future purchases through your account
- Balance displays
- Payment method preferences
To check or update your country settings:
- Visit your Account Dashboard
- Navigate to 'Payment Preferences'
- Verify your registered country
